Paral Education Welfare and Relief Society, Perinthalmanna, a leading NGO in the Malabar Region was formed to galvanize the people for the cause of the unfortunate and needy. Established in 2001, registered (F / 2001) as a non-profit making organization based in Perinthalmanna, Kerala, India, the Society has been a reflection of the exceptional vision of eminent people from different walks of life like Social workers, Political leaders, Government and Non Government officers, house wives etc It is the culmination of their efforts to organize a crusade to combat pain, poverty, inequality and illiteracy.

The Society is at Paral, located east to the Perinthalmanna Town, Malappuram. Eminent Social workers have spearheaded the activities of the Trust in pursuing the goals of enabling children, youth, families, and the elderly to improve their lives, and to encourage educational excellence.

As a social welfare organization which is serving day, night for the poor, helpless and deserving, the main aim of Paral Education Welfare and Relief Society is to improve the living conditions of the less fortunate, providing Education for the needy, Health to the under privileged etc. One striking feature of the organisation is its commitment for human values and indigenous efforts.

Paral Education Welfare and Relief Society being a non governmental totally voluntary organisation that exists thanks to financial support from voluntary donors, kind hearted people around the world who have been compassionate enough to share a part of their wealth for the less fortunate people.

Our legacy of care, compassion and commitment continue to lead us to the future. We take pride in the fact that of to date,

• We could help to nearly 10 under privileged girls to wed by helping in their wedding expenses
• Distribution of goats was done to 20 needy families
• House construction for one family was undertaken.

Paral Education Welfare and Relief Society is a non profit making organisation and can survive only by the generous support and donations which are provided by kind hearted people from all walks of life round the world. Give us your helping hand in making a difference to the lives of the under privileged. Your prayer is also an important support for us… Most of us are leading an easy life but remain busy with no time left to look into the life of the less privileged. People do not even want to believe such poverty exists in our present society like:
• Families that are subjected to acute hunger if the man of the house could not go out for work • Our sisters who taken on the burden of poverty to add to their woes due to the sudden demise of their husbands. • Kids who lack the parental love and care and are left in foster homes. • Critical patients who cannot even leave the bedside • Patients who are fighting immense pain and see only the coming death • Patients who cannot afford the high fees of specialised care in private hospitals • Intelligent, smart little children who are left behind in education just because they cannot afford the fees due to their circumstances. • The youth who are constantly getting into petty crimes and theft as they do not have the capital to start out on their own • People who keep on praying the rains not to come as they do not posses the money to build roofs for their houses. • The poor mothers who run to the neighbours with their little kids during rainy nights • The destitute who have only the shop verandahs to sleep
